Avatar
1. If you want other players to be able to see your avatar you have to buy
Trackmania UNITED.
2. Find a low resolution picture from google or yahoo and save it to your PC. Must be jpeg (jpg).
3. Run the game from Launcher.
4. Select Help and afterwards custom data.
5. In the data importer avatar, find the picture you just downloaded and open it.
6. With this you will create a dds file.
My Documents › Trackmania › Skins › Avatars
After you finish, enter the game and select:
Profile › select the picture of England with double click.
7. Find your picture in the list and select it.
Afterwards, go back and save it.
Car
1. If you want other players to be able to see your car you have to buy
Trackmania UNITED.
2. You can download ready-made 3D or 2D cars from
here or
here.
3. Download it and paste it into the following folder:
My Documents › Trackmania › Skins › Vehicles › Stadiumcar
4. If the folders: "Vehicles" and "StadiumCar" do not exist - create them yourself.
5. After you finish, enter the game and select:
Profile › Vehicles › Stadium
Find the car design from the list and select it.
Afterwards, go back and save it.
If, when you go online, it pops you a message - click yes.
Horn
1. If you want other players to be able to listen your horn you have to buy Trackmania UNITED
Trackmania UNITED.
2. Find the song that you want.
3. The song must be 1 to 10 seconds long - maximum.
4. Open
Audacity
5. select file and import the file. Your file must be wav or mp3.
6. Following that your song will appear.
select with the arrow key (cursor) the split stereo track command.
7. After you split the song into two channels,
close the left channel and select the mono command.
8. After that, you need to preselect the export as selection wav command and save it.
9. Finally,copy and paste your file into the
My Documents › Trackmania › Skins › Horns
Nickname
Coloring your nickname
1. Use the following web site and write the nickname that you like. /
Krazy Colors or
TrackmaniaNickr
2. First, write the nickname that you want to appear inside the game.
3. When you are done, copy it, and paste it in the game by using the Ctrl + V buttons on your keyboard
Account › profile › nickname
Clik at the center and paste it.
When your nickname appears, press the back button on the bottom left hand side ot your screen and save it.
Getting coppers
1. In order if you want to get coppers your all should have bought the
Trackmania UNITED
2. Every time you login into the game, you get 50 coppers per day.
3. If you like to get more, there is an extra way. You can start playing the official maps.
4. Now you need to get into the game. [United]
5. Select solo, from the top left hand side of your screen. There you can choose either nation or united.
6. Choose any map you want. You can practice as much as you want, there is no time limit ! When you think that you are ready, you can drive it in official mode.
7. In order to drive it in official mode, you need to press teh restart button, if you get the time that it asks you will get extra 15 coppers map, but only once.
*Attention*
In this mode, you MUST NOT retire or respawn because official mode turns into normal. In the case that you have tried it, but didn't manage to get the time that it asks, you can re-try it, but it will cost you 10 coppers !
